The texture is a little like cornbread – I think because of the wheat germ and brown sugar and yogurt for moisture. The recipe calls for Plain Yogurt but I have used Vanilla flavoured when that is all I find in the fridge – they still turn out and taste great!
The first time we had these muffins Jane had filled them full of flavour-bursting raspberries and those are still my favourite, but feel free to experiment with various fruits and berries – make the recipe your own! And, don’t forget to share with others – that’s what’s so great about finding a favourite recipe – SHARING it!” other_notes=”These muffins are quick, easy, and delicious!” recipe_cuisine=”” recipe_cuisine_other=”Muffins” recipe_category=”Dessert,Snack” cooking_method=”Oven” cook_time=”20″ total_time=”25″ total_cost=”8″ cost_per_serving=”0.44″ author_src=”custom” author_name=”Lusti’s Mountain Resort” author_url=”https://www.panoramaresort.com/explore/lustis-cappuccino-bar ” ing_heading=”Ingredients” ingredients=”%5B%7B%22title%22%3A%22Dry%20Ingredients%22%2C%22list%22%3A%222%20cups%5Ct%5CtFlour%5Cn1%20cup%5Ct%5CtBrown%20Sugar%5Cn2%20cups%5Ct%5CtWheat%20Germ%5Cn1%20Tbsp.%5CtBaking%20Powder%5Cn2%20tsp.%5Ct%5CtBaking%20Soda%5Cn%5Cn1%C2%BD%20cups%20%5CtBerries%20or%20any%20Fruit%22%7D%2C%7B%22title%22%3A%22Wet%20Ingredients%22%2C%22list%22%3A%22%C2%BE%20cup%5Ct%5CtOil%5Cn2%20%5Ct%5CtEggs%5Ct%5Cn1%C2%BD%20cups%5CtPlain%20Yogurt%5Cn1%20tsp.%5Ct%5CtVanilla%22%7D%5D” recipe_yield=”18 Servings” serving_size=”1 Muffin” calories=”263.8″ suitable_for_diet=”” total_fat=”12.33″ saturated_fat=”2.391″ trans_fat=”0.049″ polyunsat_fat=”6.25″ monounsat_fat=”2.972″ cholesterol=”72″ sodium=”28″ carbohydrate=”36.22″ fiber=”2.8″ sugar=”17.37″ protein=”6.34″ vitamin_d=”6″ calcium=”110″ iron=”2.07″ potassium=”358″ vitamin_a=”80″ vitamin_c=”2″ vitamin_e=”1″ vitamin_k=”18″ vitamin_b1=”0.375″ vitamin_b2=”0.2″ vitamin_b3=”1.845″ vitamin_b6=”0.214″ folate=”72″ vitamin_b12=”0.5″ vitamin_b5=”0.647″ phosphorus=”259″ magnesium=”42″ zinc=”1.96″ selenium=”18.4″ copper=”0.148″ manganese=”1.877″ custom_nutrients=”%5B%7B%22level%22%3A%220%22%2C%22text_style%22%3A%22normal%22%7D%5D” hide_name=”true” hide_date=”true” hide_author=”true” social_heading=”Share this recipe” social_buttons=”” social_sticky=”true” img_lib=”4975″][trg_recipe_method method_title=”Making Lusti’s Cappucino Bar Muffins”]
